Tuition Information

For the 2009-2010 academic year, tuition in the MLS program is $2,430 per course. Annual tuition increases should be expected.

Books

First-semester students will receive their required texts at no charge. Following their first semester, all students are responsible for the cost of their required texts.

Fees

Fees include but are not limited to:
Student services fee: $44 per session
Parking fee: $66-$230 per year
Graduate Student Association Fee: $20 per session (no more than $40 per year)

Fees cover a campus ID from the campus police, a commuter parking permit, a Rice e-mail account, Fondren Library privileges, and access to the Rice Recreation Center.

 

Funds Sought for MLS Scholarships

The MLS program currently cannot offer scholarships and is actively seeking individuals or corporations who could underwrite a scholarship fund to help worthy students pursue their degree. Interested parties should contact Jay Davenport at jay.davenport@rice.edu.
